Welcome to the Hopeland United Methodist Church website!
We are a fellowship of believers who persist in knowing, loving, and serving God as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We embrace others as they are, share our lives, and actively
engage in ministry.
We value the Bible as the inspired word of God.
We value our relationship with God made possible through salvation in Jesus Christ and our relationships with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, and our relationship with both our immediate community and with the wider world, particularly as we are called to serve the poor and hurting. We will be intentional about being in relationship with those we can learn from, learn with, and with those who may learn from us.
We value our heritage. Firmly rooted in the faithfulness of all who came before us, living in the present as God has called us, and looking to the future where God will lead us.
We value generous giving. We strive to be faithful stewards of all God has entrusted to us including our time, our resources, our gifts, our service and witness. We belive that all persons have a calling to ministry and have been given the gifts needed to serve.
We value authentic worship that glorifies God.
We value people at every stage of life and will equip children, youth and adults to know, love and serve God.
We value being an invitational community, and will invite others into relationship with God and into our fellowship.
We will seek to live with integrity and excellence in everything we do.
May God, by His grace, keep us true to our mission and values.
